J. Isaac Swindle

Isaac Swindle is the founder and owner of Technical ^ Expression. Passionate about education and learning, Isaac decided to offer a portal to learning for the next generation. His personal journey through the US educational system offered insight into the value of both, theoretical and practical learning. After receiving his BA in Philosophy from Middle Tennessee State University, Isaac realized that companies were not keen on paying him to just think. Seeing the desire of employers to hire specific skill-sets, he pursued a practical educational journey into Software Engineering and Computer Science attending both Western Governors University and Pennsylvania State University. While working as a full-time Software Engineer, Isaac completed his BS and MSc in Software Engineering and an MBA with an emphasis in Information Technology. Always looking for the next wave of information, Isaac is currently completing an MS in Data Analytics.

Isaac has been fortunate to work in a variety of industries including, Healthcare (Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Perioperative Services), Finance (State of Tennessee, Treasury), Military Defense (L-3 ForceX), Education (ITT Tech), and Data Analytics (STR, Inc.). The varied experience gained from the disparate industries has created a unique perspective of how to create robust software and how many companies add their signature to the same methodologies and processes.

His vision for Technical ^ Expression is to provide breadth and depth to the modern distributed, open learning environment. While many universities and companies seek to retain a hold on a closed, proprietary learning system, Technical ^ Expression joins the emerging trend of free learning.
